I don't know what's wrong with being different

Hi! I've been sooo busy for the whole last week. Unbelievable how much I've had things to do... Everything's just piling up to my mind and I always remember a new thing I was supposed to do. I've been designing a few new clothes, I'm still not sure how I should do those. And then I've been writing that ten paged essay. It's almost ready!! Yeij! I only need to write about one more subject, politics.... That's the most difficult subject I had but maybe I can get something done. I've written nine pages now so only one more to go! ;)

 

My big sister came back from USA last Friday! -(*.*)- I was so nervous about her flight for a few days before she came... Even my stomach started to hurt eventually. How nervous am I gonna be when I'm leaving to Australia???? But it has been fun to get my sister back. We've watched a few movies and we also ate waffles with a lot of berries and maple syrup. She brought that and also peanut butter as souvenirs... I hate peanut butter. It's just so sticky... and doesn't taste good. -(T.T)- But she gave me and my little sister minion socks!!! Those are sooo cute and great. `(ê.ê)´

 

 

 

I got the socks with "I<3nerds" and "trouble" texts. ^.^

 

And yesterday I took my sixth ear piercing. \(Ö.Ö)/I already had five but then I thought that why not have six of them.. Now I have four piercings on my left ear and two on the other. But I made one mistake that I had the first earring they put on for at least three weeks as a ring.. Not the other type.. Is it a plug? Have absolutely no idea... -(c_c)- Well anyway that one which is not a ring. So then last night I started to think that I didn't want that ring I already had in my ear. And then today came and I decided to change that ring and I did it and well I can tell you, my ear piercing hurt a bit. But it's been a few hours now since I changed that earring and it doesn't hurt anymore! Wohoo! Actually it feels a lot better than it did while I had that ring in it. So maybe it was a good thing I changed it.. Yes it probably was, let's think like that.

Day after tomorrow I'm going to my friend's wedding! Hiiiiii..... She really is getting married in two days! Can't believe it and I'm so happy for her. She will be so beautiful bride, can't wait to see her. After that I continue my trip to Vuokatti to my little sister's confirmation party and then I come back from there after next weekend. And right after that one of my friends is coming over for a few days. So no sight of something called piece and quiet. But who needs something like that? Ha, as if. I'm leaving Finland soon (in five weeks!!) and I'm gonna use my time here well. -û.û-

Oh and I started to read manga called Horimiya. It's so cute story and I really like to read it. I just haven't had time to read for a few days.... And I also watched this anime called Gekkan shoujo Nozaki-kun. It was so fun! I laugh so much and I have to mention this one part of it! When Nozaki-kun brings that bike to the school and asks Sakura to drive with him... When is the last time I laughed as much as then.

Hi! I watched two first movies of The lord of the rings with my sister last Friday and Saturday. We were supposed to watch them as a marathon through the night but we were too tired and had to stop after the first movie.... Then we watched extended version of the second movie next day and because my sister was falling asleep we couldn't watch the third one and now I have to wait for a few weeks because she left to her camp last Monday. Not fair.

 

 

Also on Monday I went fishing with my dad. It had been a while since I was fishing last time... It was probably last summer or the one before that. Can't remember. But I reeeally like fishing! I've always liked it, already when I was a little kid. And now when I'm going to Australia I want to try open sea fishing. I've never done that before and I really hope there could be someone who likes to go fishing and could take me with her/him. That would be too awesome! `(i_i)´

 

 

 

Now is Thursday... Most of the time during these past few days I've been sewing and I actually got something done! I made one cute dress and used white and yellow chequered cotton fabric and white lace to it. It looks a bit 90's from the front side (it's perfect! -(^.^)-) but the back is different. Almost whole back is made of that lace and there's a diamond-shaped hole at the lower back. Then I also made a red lace skirt. It's so cute! Kawaii. -(n.n)-

 

 

 

And now I have to focus on writing a ten paged essay... Well when I have gathered all the information and stuff I need then I just have to write it and put some pictures to it. So it's not that bad.

Holaa! -(^.^)- We had thunder here today! Well it wasn't good... Not strong enough. But thunder anyway. I love thunderstorms, they're so beautiful and strong and fascinating. But thunder almost never comes there where I live.. -.-

 

I was a few days at my grandparents' place in Mellilä. It's very very small village in a countryside and my grandparents' house (and a few other buildings like barn) is in the middle of fields. I like their place, it's so peaceful and at the same time so lively 'cause there is always something going on and visitors coming and going. This time we had a strawberry war! Not really what it sounds like... But we had about 45kg of strawberries to clean, cut up, pack to little boxes and then put them to a freezer. That's how we make sure we have berries saved for the whole coming winter. Our every-year workload but it's actually fun. -(ü.ü)- I do it with pleasure and it's fun to get your hands dirty. ;P We also made pancakes (those thin and large ones). Those are so good and especially when they're baked in this... Barbecue hut?? I can't make up any other word for it so I'm just gonna call it that! ~(e.e)~ Well there's a picture of it below so it explains everything (hopefully). And of course we played cards sooo much! It's so fun and something we always do when we visit our grandparents.

Sun's finally going down at about 11pm. It's time to end our day and head to the cottage for the night.

 

 

Look what I bought!! A lot of paper (in a notebook style and with hard covers!!!!! What luxury.. o.o) and calligraphy pens. Now I can finally draw something in manga-style again. Those were too expensive.... -.-'' Now I'm out of money again.



Cinderella and Snow White's adventures

I've been so busy for the last five days.. And I'm so exhausted. Last Thursday me and my sister went to Nastolan seikkailupuisto (adventure park in Nastola) and we spent one hot summer day there. It was so fun and scary. There were so many different tracks high up in the air and we had to climb, walk on wobbly bridges and robes and do all kinds of scary things. I hate high places.. Or actually I love them. I'm just afraid of them. -(^.^)- But I'll go there again next year! It was so much fun.

 

 

Then on Friday one of my friends came to Hyvinkää and we decided to cycle to one lake, it's only 13km away. And of course my little sister came with us, how could I leave her at home it's too much fun with her. It was so hot day and I can tell you, we were so ready to go swimming when we finally got to the lake. When we came back we made some fruit salad and warm sandwiches and played cards. It was a good day!

 

Saturday and Sunday I spent with my other friend who just came back from interrailing in Europe. I always have fun with her, she is just the kind of person I get along with so well.

 

And now for the two past days I've been making a dress for my sister and now it's finally ready!! I put some pictures later in August when she's gonna wear it at her confirmation party. It's cute mint green with white lace and an open back. -(ü.ü)- I was gonna lose my mind with it's hem... It was more difficult than I had thought.

 

Oh and these pics are from last Wednesday when I went out taking photographs with my sister. I seem to spend a lot of time with her... Well I won't see her for about 8 months when I leave next August. -(u_u,)- If we were Disney-princesses my little sis would be Cinderella, I would be Snow White and my older sister would be Tiana. ;P

Fooood and blood.... o.o

Hi! You know, I like cooking and when I actually decide to do something good then it'll be good. :P But I'm just so lazy... When I'm alone I don't always care to cook anything 'cause it's just me who's gonna eat it. I should probably shape up a bit. Anyway, last Saturday I made salad and sushi! Mum had made salad and I was thinking what I could eat with it and because we had rise and seaweed I decided to make sushi. And those were so good. Even though I didn't have wasabi-paste.

Yesterday morning I went to take a blood test... I could say it didn't go that well. (^.^') First that doctor put a needle to my left arm and moved it around there because she had lost my blood vessel (is it called that??? That vein anyway.. ;P) Then she took the needle out and tried another vein from my left arm... No luck with it either. So then she tried my right arm and finally got some blood out of it. Nice. (-_-) Now I look like a worse drug addict when I don't cover my arms. Mostly 'cause I got blood under my skin (from those several failed needle shots).

 

 

Yesterday me and my sis ate waffles. First we were gonna make pancakes but then we wanted to do something else for a change. Yumm -ü.ü-

 

 

I also wanted to try making those cute chocolate cups and then put some chocolate mousse into them. First air balloon exploded.. But then we managed to make four new ones. And finally we got three chocolate cups 'cause one broke. -.-'' But it was a good result for the first time! Next time I'm gonna make a bit different filling to those. Not chocolate mousse. It was good too but I think it was too sweet.. I prefer a bit sour or brisk/fresh flavors with chocolate. (-ÿ.ÿ-)

 

 

 

 

Last week I watched Barakamon. It's so good and fun anime. It tells about a calligrapher who moves to an island where he meets so many new and energetic persons. His life chances dramatically because of these people and it's so much fun to follow their daily life. ^.^

 

Now I'm watching Hanasaku Iroha. It's also fun and has some drama in it. Check those two out! I really recommend them. \(n.n)/
